As FCP X is not being replaced (remember there’s a 10 year commitment from Apple), and because Clips is a consumer application and FCP X is for a wide range of editing purposes for professionals, I don’t see any correlation at all. I’m pretty confident we’ll see smarter tools from companies like Lumberjack long before there’s anything like it in FCP X.

      1. Good to know….once the new MacPro with thunderbolt 3 and decent, current GFX cards come out shortly I will get one and install FCP X with confidence….thx for the advice.
