Growth was attributed to increased viewing of TV episodes online, combined with the growing importance of video aggregators like AOL, MSN, Yahoo and Blinkx.

Over 10 billion long-form videos — such as TV episodes on Hulu — were viewed in 2010, accounting for 14.5% of total views.

Websites branded by cable or other premium TV services accounted for 26.3% of total views, while “online-only” brands generated 63.1% of total views.
